Oxford Triz
Learning Experience

Welcome to Oxford

All our residential training workshops are held in Oxford. As many of the Oxford Creativity team are based in and around the city, we are keen to use the benefit of our local experience to ensure that your stay is welcoming and enjoyable, as well as full of TRIZ.

If you want to learn about our online learning experience, please visit Oxford TRIZ Academy our online platform.

Workshop training days

Creative team building is central to all our workshops, our training days are designed to make maximum use of the time available and are rigorous, interactive and challenging. As each workshop lasts up to 8 hours, we like to ensure that there is a relaxing element of the Oxford Creativity experience to enjoy at the end of the training day.

Hospitality and sight-seeing

Oxford Creativity organise an inclusive  'workshop team' meal out at a restaurant in Oxford on the evening of Day 2 of our 3-day courses, and also on Day 4 of our 5-day courses. This is often accompanied by a trip punting on the River Cherwell at summer workshops. Or a fun alternative is croquet on the lawn at Egrove Park, which also offers excellent bar facilities set within elegant surroundings.

We are more than happy to provide advice about how to access cultural or other activities you may wish to enjoy whilst visiting Oxford - tours of the City and Colleges, theatre at the Oxford Playhouse, music at the Sheldonian, or museum collections and exhibitions at the Ashmolean.

Egrove Park

Egrove Park is part of the University's Oxford Saïd Business School. The site is a residential business meeting venue in a parkland setting, only two miles from Oxford City Centre, with ample parking.

Oxford Creativity has used this venue for our workshops for over 15 years. The 37 acres of grounds are the perfect setting, ideal for  a breath of fresh air during refreshment breaks, or a relaxing walk before or after the training sessions. Other leisure facilities include an all-weather sports surface, croquet lawn, snooker room, and gym.

Their award-winning catering team provides quality and a variety of cuisine.
The food is made with locally sourced British produce, sustainably-sourced fish, and meat is from farms which satisfy UK animal welfare standards.

Delegates can expect two/three servings of tea, coffee and biscuits throughout the day as standard during refreshment breaks.

The venue is fully equipped to deal with any allergen or dietary requirements, please ensure that you advise Oxford Creativity's Business Manager, Kate Norton in advance of your training course.
