Oxford TRIZ Live: Fundamental Problem Solving is the first Oxford TRIZ online course - taught in 10 hours over 5 days through webinars and interactive workshops. It launched in April with great success, selling out all places and is currently running monthly during lock down. We asked some of the attendees from the launch what they thought, including Faith, featured below:

Newton was in lock down when his theory of gravity / laws of physics became clear to him – he had been sent back to his family home from Cambridge because of a plague outbreak. It was thought that the overworked postgraduate needed the break from teaching and research to allow time and peace to do their work on his brain and thoughts.

I’ve read a lot of posts recently about how the world will never be the same after the Covid-19/Coronavirus pandemic. How, at least for sure in the first world, people have been forced to work from home, which has shown that it is much more possible than many would have had you believe. This year's International Women's Day theme is #EachforEqual, the idea being that "equality is not a women's issue, it's a business issue." We couldn't agree more. We love what we do because TRIZ empowers everyone who uses it to make a difference and solve real problems on any scale, through innovation.

In the summer of 2018 I came away from an IT conference with only one take-away, and that was the word 'TRIZ'. It hadn’t been explained and that had piqued my interest. I quickly discovered Oxford Creativity and after listening to one of their webinars I knew I was hooked...
