Online is a game-changer compared to how things were before the global Covid lockdowns in 2020. It certainly transformed Oxford TRIZ™ both for training and problem solving.
Our live, online training was created specifically to be delivered virtually - to teams, individuals and organisations in all time zones. We launched our Fundamental Problem training in April 2020, delivering live lectures and interactive tutorials for 2-hours over 5 days; giving 10-hours of online training, a Level 1 certificate, plus full access to our E-learning package. Since then, its popularity ensures we run it at least 10 times a year, and delegates from all over the world have benefitted from learning TRIZ this way.
Course is exceptional - the 'on-line format' is the best run of all the courses that I've attended - and I've attended a-lot! Very good planning and then execution with the course and tutorial delivery.

Demand developed for next steps from our online community which resulted in us offering two follow-up Level 2 online courses - Advanced Innovative Problem Solving (AIPS) and Patent & IP Development. Many signed up for both, as they enjoy the 2-hours a day for 5 days format, and both courses include a practical step by step guide for applying TRIZ, supporting revision, and helping to extend professional development through learning.
Online vs. Face to Face - both have contradictory benefits
One of the legacies of lockdown, is that there's an air of anticipation - even excitement - amongst groups when it is announced that they are scheduled to get together in the same room for team building workshops or away-days.
Since we have returned to the office, been allowed to meet, socialise and work in large groups, demand has revived from organisations and teams to be part of one of our Oxford TRIZ™ rigorous, innovative away days & creativity sessions, that don't just rely on brainstorming.
Sometimes online sessions are just what's needed...they enables hybrid, ‘work at home’ and international teams to solve their most difficult problems while learning together easily and simply.
But if people are there in person, and organisations have made an investment in them to be away from the office, we see time and time again, that teams start to feel that 2 plus 2 makes 5.
They interact more effectively when communicating face-to-face and working as a team. Particularly if they are looking to problem solve or innovate.
This enthusiasm reflects the contrast of being together, compared to remote working on their own. As many know, blended working doesn't always mean interacting with all our team, as many are in the workplace on different days.
Responding to this revived need, we have re-launched our Oxford TRIZ™
Team Workshops .
All our innovative workshops are fun, in-person, intense, & interactive sessions, designed to stimulate teams learning and working together.
Using Oxford TRIZ™ tools in our Workshops, we help teams learn to:
- problem solve systematically
- develop new products
- create and protect IP
- share knowledge and ideas
- communicate better become more innovative
...and much more.
Organisations choose the type of Team Workshop - Online, In-house or Off-site.
You could extend that choice to your Team?
You might be surprised, maybe they'll choose the In-person option? After all, if a team makes break-through outcomes during the Workshop - who doesn't want to claim they were in 'the room where it happened'? It can be much more rewarding celebrating together than waving at a screen.
